Databases
Searching databases are a bit different from regular Google searching. Check out a few of the following tutorials to help you get started. There are also more detailed tutorials on the database page of the Virtual Library.
You can now download documents directly into your Google drive! Simply click the “download” option in the toolbox to the right of the article you wish to save. Teachers may also share resources with students through Google classroom. In addition, the “In Context” databases are aligned to the Ontario curriculum – teachers may choose the subject strand and browse through related resources.
Catalogue Searching
The library catalogue is called iPAC and it is the application we use to search for books in the library. Here is tutorial which outlines how to search the iPAC and also how books are organized in the library.
